Before his near-death experience, Dr. Rajiv Parti was a wealthy man of science with a successful career as the Chief of Anesthesiology at the Bakersfield Heart Hospital in California. He demanded the same success from his son, whose failures provoked episodes of physical abuse from Dr. Parti.
All in all, Dr. Parti was the last man to believe in heaven or hell - that is, until he saw them with his own eyes. When Dr. Parti had his near-death experience on the operating table, he first watched his own operation from the ceiling - even recalling a joke told by his doctors during his surgery. He was greeted by archangels and his deceased father who led him through the tortures of hell and revealed the toxic cycle of violence that has plagued his family for generations. He even reviewed the struggles of his previous lives which, in many ways, reflected those he still faced in the present.
Finally, he experienced heaven. From the angels, he learned lessons of spiritual health that they insisted he bring down to earth - to do so, Dr. Parti knew he had to change his ways. After his near-death experience, Dr. Parti awoke a new man. He gave away his mansion, quit his career, opened a wellness clinic, and completely turned around his relationships with his family. To this day, he still converses with angels and spreads their wisdom to the living.

Truly inspiring
I have absolutely enjoyed this book... A truly admirable man taking time and courage to move from a materialistic life into a beautiful spiritual one...
So many parts of his story resonated with me and I feel like he has also brought change and healing of me....💞💞💞

Exceptional clarity
What a gift the author has. His honesty is refreshing as he admits to his own struggles and doubts and how his advice does not always heal in the sense we want to... wonderful reading and enlightenment

Best NDE I’ve ever read
This audio book was very interesting to listen to. The orator has a fine, articulate voice and tells the story as if he were the author. Excellent. The NDE is told in depth and covered every aspect of the NDE from the beginning right through to the end and explains how the experience left the author and his galant and courageous efforts to turn around his life in another direction, a more spiritual and fulfilled life motivated by his soul and not his ego. Not for one second was I bored as I listened intently to this wonderful experience which the author had and the story does not end when the NDE ended, no it goes on to reveal even more astonishing events and feedback from the NDE. In fact, the book is perfect in every aspect and I would thoroughly recommend it.

Truly one of the best NDEs with verified events.
Amazing book that's very well written and structured which explores an incredible NDE from a doctor who clearly is motivated to tell the truth of what really happened to him as accurately as possible. Thanks for sharing this experience with all of us!

An inspirational journey, easy to follow.
As an ex nurse and having had an NDE myself, I could certainly identify with most of the story and could almost have written it myself. The similarities to my experience are striking. I hesitate to use the word story and prefer to use the word 'journey' because that truly is what it is. Life is a journey and we can all learn from this book. A book well worth reading.

Absolutely beautiful and affirming.
I was entranced from beginning to end. Thought provoking and moving. I highly recommend this book. Its given new meaning to me on life and how Love really is the only thing that matters. Loved it!
