Story
Whispering Pines is a classic, quiet, private American subdivision on the edge of Asheville, NC, set in the pristine Blue Ridge Mountains. Which is good since the zombie apocalypse has come to Western North Carolina and really put suburban living to the test! Surrounded by a sea of the undead, the residents of Whispering Pines have adapted their bucolic life of block parties to scavenging parties, common area groundskeeping to immediate area warfare, neighborhood beautification to neighborhood fortification.

Holy Cow! What an amazing experience!
If you could sum up Dying Days: Origins in three words, what would they be?
Amazing! Outstanding! Mind Blowing!
Who was your favorite character and why?
Tosha Shorb. My gosh what spunk this girl has. The endurance that she exuberated during this story, kept it alive and fresh.
Which scene was your favorite?
The very first scene with Tosha at the party was my favorite. She acts just like me. One heck of a spit fire! I love her wittyness.
Did you have an extreme reaction to this book? Did it make you laugh or cry?
I loved Jack Wallen's voice with this book. He made me laugh, he made shiver, he made me want more of this book. I kept replaying certain scenes because I love the way he described them.
Any additional comments?
If you are into Zombies this is a MUST read book. I loved the audio version because I could move around and do stuff and even listen to it in the car. Armand Rosamilia writing is very fresh and stunning. I wish they would make this into a movie. If this would have come out before the Walking Dead it would have blown it out of the water.
