Summary

Fred did something bad.

He didn’t intend to do it, but the destruction of a dungeon core - accident or otherwise - will likely result in horrific consequences for anyone connected with the crime.

And not for just the perpetrators; everyone around them will suffer vengeful retribution from the nearby cores for the unthinkable act.

Knowing that his mistake will end up endangering his new friends, the townspeople of Gatecross, and even his Guild, Core Power, Fred decides to do whatever he can to protect them.

After he absorbed the nature core, he unlocked the ability to establish a territory and create his very own dungeon - a dungeon which will hopefully provide the defense they need to survive against the expected fight to come.

Unfortunately, the nature faction isn’t the only one that learned about Fred’s crime.

The Dungeon Adventurer Syndicate, under the authority of the Craytion Kingdom, has sent a powerful group to investigate....

Contains LitRPG/GameLit elements such as statistics and leveling.

No harems and no profanity.

This series is wonderful

Honestly this might be one of the best Dungeon Core books I've read - and I have read a ton of them. This is harem free, profanity free, and NOT for kids. I'm blown away by how good this is.

This is definitely a twist on the core type books, but *is* still a dungeon core book. The ratings are not over-hyped. Pick this up!

nice and clean, the progress is steady with no crazy jumps and the main character has no crazy hangups.

Great book!

Fun story and engaging narration.

A continuation of the adventures of a young man/dungeon core and his new friends as they try to cope with attacks from other dungeons.

Good story and the narration brought the characters to life.

I really enjoyed this book. I stayed up all night on a work night to finish it. nuff said.

An amazing continuation

All you want from a litRPG dungeon novel, with great twist and thus perfect if you like the genre, but might be looking for something slightly different. Highly recommended.

Great second book in the series

Really loved the first book, story is very entertaining and unique in terms of dungeon core books. This one was just as good and I found the whole book enjoyable with the right mix of build up and action. The narration from Mr. Meili is on point as well he is definitely talented narrator. Really looking forward to the next book in the series and hoping for many more after that to come.

Good maybe great book

I really enjoyed this book with one single caveat; why do so many authors make unique characters, but can’t resist eventually ruining it by making others with their abilities? I’m not positive but my money is on Issa or however you spell her name now being the same if lesser than Fred. Predictable, and basically what to expect because nearly every author decides to water down their lead characters by diluting what makes them interesting. I was disappointed by this but I’ll wait for the next book to see if I jumped to conclusions. Don’t let this put you off, this was a very good second book.

The narration improved greatly!

Enjoyed the story of the first one, but it was a struggle to get through the narration at times. The performance by Miles greatly improved on this book, and as a result, was that much more enjoyable!
