Drake is closer than ever to breaking through, yet every step forward pulls him deeper into the schemes of the Primordials. Their unseen hands shape Drake's path as he is forced to play a game far bigger than survival alone.

His settlement thrives, his allies grow stronger, and his family looks to him for protection. As the last known survivor of a hunted warrior race, Drake carries the burden to either unite the people of his town or paint an even larger target on his back.

The road forward is steep and unforgiving and the power to protect his people may demand the ultimate price.

Don’t miss the next installment of this fast-paced LitRPG Adventure. Grab your copy today and follow Drake as he fights, levels, and survives the trials of the system.

Okay so I really like the Dual Class series up to this one. Book 3 was excellent, and I was looking forward to this installment in the series as a follow up.

The first half of Book 4? Pretty good, worth the listen. Punchy and what I came to expect from the previous installments. The second half, however, did not work for me. Others have said it already before, but the whole "E rank Legacy" arc that starts here doesn't do anything but tear the reader from the story going on in the first half and first three books.

It feels like something done to forcibly inject the lore of the universe and create a backdrop for the reader. Unfortunately, it also creates a strange paradox that is likely to get hand waved away as a simulation. Honestly, this could have been split out across various rank up points in the series, and it would have made a lot gmore sense. However, it is where it is, and hopefully Arthur can pull a rabbit out of the hat to tie it all together.

Great series, but....

Very enjoyable and can't wait for book 5 to see the end of his evolution into E grade and whatever else might happen in this story , because i'm really enjoying it a lot

good story

A well proformed book that keeps your engaged. The first half of the book is much of the same as previous books. The second half, unlike previous reviews I liked. It was a good start to a training arch that introduceds the wider universe. The change in setting also helps with power progression.
Only thing I'm not keen on is the harem stuff but that's personal preference. Overall a good book and looking forward to book 5

A good listen

the MC is infuriatingly stupid in this one but i guess the story is alright just very dragged out for no real reason.

not sure i would recommend this one.
