About this listen

On the moor, not all the beasts walk on four legs.

On a windswept moor, a child emerges from the mist with a story no one wants to believe. The farmer who finds her assumes she’s simply lost. But when she utters a chilling phrase—“We went to see the old ones”—he realises something is terribly wrong.

As Detective Evan Warlow battles his own demons, he and the team are pulled into a case of ritualistic secrets, long-buried crimes, and the whispers of something darker lurking in the mist.

In the empty heart of Wales, legends are harmless. It’s the people you need to fear.

Dark, gripping crime fiction at its best. Druid’s Moor is the chilling eighteenth novel from bestselling author Rhys Dylan—perfect for fans of JD Kirk, Simon McCleave, and Peter Robinson.

How the author manages seamlessly to integrate a seemingly entirely new mystery into the previouse successful investigations of DCI Warlow.

Keeping the investigations going.

I have read the whole series. Enjoyed collective and individual warmth’ of the ‘Warlow’ police family.. The stories with strains running throughout the whole series to have caused this old copper many hours loss of sleep. ‘Rhos Dylan’s books are well researched and a pleasure to the ear. No spoilers😁…..Next……………

What a great writer , developer of characters and super stories - and just brilliantly narrated by Tobias Weatherburn.

I hope Rhys Dylan is nearly ready with the next book in the series , as I am struggling to find something (besides the Strike books) that I love listening to so much.

Yet another brilliant book and terrific narrator
