Love the storyline and the character development as well as the twists. Great rounding off of a few of the previous novels. In times a little maudlin but the continuing humour is a good counterpart.

This is book 18 but it’s the first I’ve read of this series.
I found it a well woven story, the present case seemed to be tied to a past case and although I didn’t feel like I missed any information I’ll definitely be looking at the other books in this series now just because I enjoyed this one so much.

The narrator Tobias Weatherburn does a fantastic job and was a pleasure to listen to.

I have spent all my credits on this series and I have now listened to all the books. I love the plots, characters and humour. I am really looking forward to the next installment.

I have read the whole series. Enjoyed collective and individual warmth’ of the ‘Warlow’ police family.. The stories with strains running throughout the whole series to have caused this old copper many hours loss of sleep. ‘Rhos Dylan’s books are well researched and a pleasure to the ear. No spoilers😁…..Next……………
