Summary
When waking from your dream means living your nightmare...
The last time the dream came, Sam was seven years old, and that was the night her parents were to die.
Twenty-five years later, Sam's nightmares are starting to come true once more. Now a successful TV commercials producer, juggling her roles of career woman, wife and mother, she attempts to shut them out.
But soon Sam is faced with the reality of dreams in which her life and the lives of her family are threatened. In desperation, she consults the experts: a psychiatrist; a clairvoyant...but to no avail.
Sam is being inexorably drawn into a vortex of terror from which there is no escape....

I have to say it was a slow starter. but well worth plodding on with. because it really is a cracker in the end.

Boring
terrible story no substance. downloaded as the reviews were good. I love this author but this book is dull, and as for Nicky what a brat so annoying with the narrator shouting demanding and screaming that was the worst bit for me

A bad day at the office!!!
Everyone gets one of those in the course of their work life and this book is Peter James‘s equivalent! Truly awful. Ridiculous story line, terribly repetitive and poor denouement. All unlovable characters except maybe for the long suffering boss. How often can a woman make wrong choices after wrong choices (including that of her husband!), invariably followed by pathetic calls for help and/or get somehow rescued or woken up in a distressed state just to carry on blundering about. So sorry to write this as I am a great fan of Peter James and have enjoyed immensely and recommended all his other books. Never mind, I will return it and pretend it doesn’t exist!

Usually Peter james is amazing so I’m quite surprised by this it just didn’t flow. Narration really didn’t help.
I usually find Peter james really gripping and so I got this feeling confident but I’m now over half way through and it’s really boring and irritating me as the narration makes all characters come across as horrid people and even main character as annoying but I think it’s the narration and accents, combined with a slow moving vague over descriptive plot that’s about as thick as a watery soup and everything moves too slowly plot wise there’s a fine line between describing things and action and page turning and this just failed for me. Totally different from the usual Peter james who is amazing so I can only assume it’s related to the narration..either that or it’s must not quite hit the usual mark. You can’t win them all..I’ll still go for Peter james again. Usually amazing.

Big Peter James fan but really not sure about this one. Creepy but struggled with it a bit and was left counting down the time left.

Absolutely loved this book, finished it in two days.
I just love books with an element of the supernatural in. This audiobook certainly did not disappoint. Excellent story narration.
