Summary

Crazy jungle planet. Killer orange fungus. Crimson snakes in the water. The worst part? While I was in a coma, I seem to have acquired two dragon mates.

When I wake from my coma, the first thing I see are two hot aliens.

And I’m informed that they’re my mates.

I don’t think so.

This isn’t the story of Sleeping Beauty, and the two sexy, possessive Draekons aren’t my fairy tale princes.

I’m certainly not going to wake up, kiss them, and live happily ever after on this stupid prison planet, where everything’s out to kill me.

Not happening.

Not even if they heal me from my injuries and nurse me back to health.

Not even if they protect me, care for me, and keep me safe.

Not even if their abs could grace the cover of every men’s fitness magazine back home.

Sleeping Beauty isn’t going to kiss her Draekons. She’s going to find a way back home.

Draekon Fire is the second book in the Dragons in Exile series. It’s a full-length, stand-alone science fiction dragon-shifter MFM menage romance story featuring a snarky human female, and two sexy aliens that are determined to claim their mate. (No M/M.) Happily-ever-after guaranteed!

Great story telling!

I loved the first book in this series. I love the worlds that Lili has built and the cultures and people that populate them. These stories are so rich in detail and texture that they are a rich tapestry to your senses.
This book was a wonderful follow on to the first. You learn more about the main players and the storyline expands adding to the complexity of the situation.
I love Harper - she is such a strong sassy woman and her 2 mates are too delightful for words. Their back storys develop and you get to know more about how they ended up on the prison plant!! I would love to have a couple of Draekon mates myself lol!!
So it you like a book which is populated with strong women, very Dominante but caring Alpha males, wonderful steamy sex scenes and a great intriguing story this book is definitely for you.
I cant wait for the rest of the series!!
Seriously get these books they are AWESOME!
Great narration!

Sleeping Beauty? More like Sleeping Grump!

I enjoyed the story, and love the series, BUT the FMC Harper is annoying, she's whiney, impatient, and self obsessed. The Draekons have the patience of a saint, and can't do enough for her. I received this book in exchange for my honest review.

Harper, Vulrux and Dennox!

After the ship that Harper and nine other women were on was diverted and crashed to the Prison planet she is determined to help those who were injured. This finds Harper and three members of the team venturing onto the planet to secure provision when she inadvertently touches some foliage that leaves her in a coma.

Vulrux and Dennox are two of the Drakon’s that find Harper and two members of her team in trouble and come to their rescue and bring them home. Vulrux and Dennox have a past with Harper and know that she is their mate and will do whatever is necessary to ensure that the past doesn’t repeat itself.

When she awakens, she is attracted to Vulrux and Dennox but her primary concern is finding a way off the planet. Will they be able to convince her that they belong together, or will their pasts stand in their way?

Hot chemistry and witty banter combine with a few twists to make this an intriguing storyline. I received a complimentary copy of the audiobook and thought the narrators were a perfect fit for the characters they represented.

Where’s the cool water

This book was insanely fantastic. It nearly melted my earphones it was so hot, but it also has an amazing storyline which some amazingly hot books seem to forget. It was so compelling that I was desperate to reach the end of the book to see how everything was resolved but didn’t want it to end.

The narrators did a next level job of getting the characters right and moving the story along at the perfect pace.

This needs 10 stars

Hot Series!

After reading all these books some time ago I thought I’d listen to them while doing things around the house. The narrators really bring the characters to life. I can’t wait to listen to the next book.

Enjoying the series!

Book two in the series and I’m totally curious to see where the story line goes! Good narrators but there are several moments where lines of 6-8 words are repeated. It would be nice to make that tiny fix.

Enjoyable story

I am really enjoying this series. The Hs and h are both strong and the romance proceeds agreeably. I absolutely hate stories were she loves them then she doesn’t then she does. That doesn’t happen here. There is enough of a side story with the scientists to keep it interesting.
The narration is mostly good. There is a bit of doubling up where the same bit is read twice, which I would have thought would be edited out. The narrators themselves are good although I am not a big fan of her male voices, they aren’t bad just not very male.
I have already purchase the next story and assume I will listen to the full series.

Amazing story but.....

Over all I love this series but there were a few times during the story where Misty Dawn messed up and they left that in as well as sentences being repeated.... I would still recommend this story overall

Draekon Fire 2

This was a great listen. The storytelling was excellent and a perfect transition from first book. This time focusing on a different passenger from Earth that was bound for a different planet.

Not Bad

Not a bad story, it was entertaining but not a lot of depth to the female lead character. Loved the male narrators but the female narrator (assuming this is Misty) was not my favorite. She tried but it really felt like she was just reading and trying to add inflection here and there. Although - the editing was non existent. You often heard Misty flub a line, back up and re-read that line again. Those errors should have been fixed in editing.

the editing sucks

you can literally here the woman narrating mess up and then repeat and correct the line. that is terrible. the women in these books are silly stupid and its upsetting. who looks at us like this. they sound super pathetic. super disappointed.
