Summary

 Here are all six episodes of the BBC Radio 4 sitcom written by and starring Ben Willbond and Justin Edwards about two incompetent science teachers who work at a college that specialises in drama, and whose world is turned upside down by the arrival of a new boss. Forresters Sixth Form College has a highly successful drama department run by the odious Danny Woods. For years, the science department was a forgotten and neglected area where Colin and Kenneth could brew their own ales in peace and quiet. Kenneth even devised a self-assessment system where one class taught itself. Then Dr Oates, the head of department died from a massive coronary - probably induced by a butter chicken-laden diet. Alison Hatton, his replacement, is keen and wants to bring in new students. Nothing will be the same again. I have listened to Double Science so many times I have lost count. I love it, the kids love it... ohhhh, if only there was a second series!!!

Great writing and fabulous performances throughout... not a bad one amongst them. Worth every penny!!!

I downloaded this a while ago but only got round to listening to it this week. I've just finished listening to it right the way through for the fourth time!

Scream-laugh-out-loud hilarious, with completely relatable characters, and plotlines only just this side of zany. The jokes are constant and pack such a punch. I love the characters of Kenneth and Colin, and Colin's adorable crush on Alison, the new Head of Science. The way super-pupil and part-time drug baron, Donna, helps Colin and Kenneth along in their adventures, usually at the expense of Danny Woods, Head of Drama and the guys' nemesis, works so neatly into each episode and makes for endearing and believable relationships right through the cast.

If you've ever been awkward around the opposite sex, if you've ever made your own homebrew, if you've ever been completely socially inept, owned a novelty tie or been obsessed with a local curry house - this is the comedy for you. Brilliantly written by the incredible Ben Willbond and Justin Edwards, the only downside is that the show only ran for six episodes. I could have listened to at least five series of it!!!

Be warned though, you WILL have a very strong hankering for Real Ale and butter chicken for... possibly the rest of your life...after you've listened right the way through!!
