Musik nervt!

Gut gemacht, aber die Musik zur Untermalung nervt echt extrem. Ansonsten wie immer coole Story.

Really poor

Just a nonsensical series of pointless killings, no rhyme or reason. The whole thing was daft, no drama or suspense. The characters were not particularly well drawn, I just feel that I have wasted 8 hours on rubbish.

Superb book

Another fabulous book by James Patterson. Twists and turns throughout. Thoroughly recommend this book. Can't wait to start next one.

Another Hit Thriller spoilt by Musical Interferenc

I have listened to a number of the Alex Cross stories and I have just finished this one. The story was good, even if the ending was a little abrupt. What spoilt it for me was the inclusion of atmospheric music and a change of narrator. I have thoroughly enjoyed Garrick Hagon's performance and did not feel the narration on this one was quite as good. Whoever decided to start adding the music should be shot ! The narrator should be able to build intensity in to the story without the need for terrible musical interference. There, I have got that off my chest now !!
