An interesting interview

I learned a lot about Donna Leon which only increased my respect for her work.

Wonderful writer callow youth

Such a fascinating, intelligent and gracious woman. Surely there could have been a more graceful and fluent interviewer. He sounded as though he was reading from a script and did not acknowledge even at a subtle level Donna Leon's completed and thorough answers.
I hope he learned a lot from her. She was a delight and I am sure he will grow into being more expert. I wish him well. There is a real need for training here especially with young inexperienced interviewers. I would do that, it is my professional field.
She deserved better and it is a tribute to her that the interview was as seamless as it almost was. Julie Hewson
