Outstanding

Each story held it's own transfixing quality. Clear and exciting narration from the cast. A truly marvellous collection of tales. I will definitely be listening to them again.

Disappointing

William Russell is as magnificent a narrator as ever and combined with Nicholas Briggs' Dalek Voices, The Dalek Invasion of Earth is captivating and exciting. Peter Purves ruins The Dalek Master Plan. He's a terrible narrator, unable to bring any life to the text. Not even Jean Marsh can salvage it. Next, there's the magnificent Jon Culshaw narrating Death to The Daleks. He's wonderful! It is almost as if Pertwee himself is narrating. He does a sterling job of Genesis of The Daleks too. Possibly better than Baker himself.
