New ER doctor Alexi Sur always intended to join an aid agency. She'd just expected to work among humans.

The story is good and thought provoking in places, emotional in others. However, it is a bit slow paced and wordy in places.

We have the intro, getting to know the characters. Main female character dislike male character. Suddenly and without explanation they want to be dating in so short a timespan that I had to check if I accidentally had jumped forward in the book.
Not nearly as good as her three other series I’ve been through

I enjoyed this book. it's only from the woman's perspective but I liked that in this book. it was a nice change to be surprised because I didn't know what the other characters were thinking.
I like the drama in this book. I love a little bit of messiness when it's not my own 🤣

I also really liked the side characters and learning about all the cool aliens in this book. The personalities of all the characters in this book are all well developed and consistent. They all had really good humour and banter.

I found the voice actors voice pleasing and thought she did all the voices really well. I could tell who was speaking without being told.

Really compelling concept of 'Alien Encounters', not to mention intrigue, action, nuts-&-bolts, and just - stuff! Can't bear there's no more to listen to or read RIGHT NOW!

I only started reading this book by listening to the preview but it went straight into the story and I was hooked almost at once. the story was quite surprising and I thoroughly enjoyed it!
