the narrator is monotone, it made it really hard to stick with it. I only carried on because I have listened to the whole series and needed to wrap it up. disappointing

Great narration. A beautiful and interesting heroine. A handsome, dashing and mysterious hero. Lots of good incidental characters. It was nice to understand Charlotte’s mother more. And lovely to encounter brother Ralph again. This is my favourite Spindle Cove book.

I’d like more though!
