About this listen

The Muffin Man is widely regarded as the first documented serial killer. He prowled the streets of the Seven Dials neighborhood of London just three and a half miles from White Chapel and possibly the most famous of all killers. When a prostitute witnesses the Muffin Man take a life and decides blackmail is a better option than going to the police, the Muffin Man seeks out help to deal with her. And who better to help than the man who is an expert at dealing with whores, Jack himself. Can two killers with drastically different philosophies on who deserves to die coexist in one city?

This was a surprisingly good listen. Some parts of it were hard to stomach but it's all part of the story. Was very interesting. Well written. I enjoyed the narration. Always good to hear a proper Londoner. Would recommend

Not for the faint hearted.

Not always a comfortable listen, (the lead character is a pretty appaling person,) but an engrossing listen

Gritty, but a great listen
