About this listen
People don’t understand why I do what I do. I’ve always been misunderstood. I have accepted this but maybe I’ve gone too far. I just can’t help myself. I like the soft texture, the squishing of them in my mouth. The way they pop between my teeth. And I can’t get enough.
It all started when I worked at the landfill. But that was taken away from me. So I brought my habit home. My family doesn’t understand but I think they’re coming around to seeing things my way. If only people tried it they too would grow to appreciate the feeling of squirming in their mouths. The complex flavor profile. The thrill of engaging in something so exclusive, so… taboo. It’s an experience. A way of life. Nothing hits quite like Disco Rice!

This is one that so many of us splatterpunk lovers have heard of. It’s been on my tbr forever but I don’t do well with gross eating stuff, so I put it off…until now & OMG what a story 😳
Trey works on a landfill, it’s literally a dumping ground for EVERYTHING 👀🤢 He loves his job & money is tight, so whenever he finds foods that are still packaged he would take them home for the family. It’s only food thrown away from the grocery stores & it’s still good to eat so it’s ok!
Until it’s not still good & he has his first taste of something different coating an apple…that came out of a rotten carcass, surprisingly he loved it 🫣 Which leads to a whole new gross level of what else has he been missing out on tasting….errrm maggots anyone? 🤢
After his co-worker spots him knee deep in the dump with a beard full of maggots, he’s fired on the spot. Now what’s he going to do, more importantly hows he gotta eat his favourite treat?! This is when things go past the point of no return for Trey…😬🤯
Jeeeeeze, I thought this would just be a little gross read, what I did not expect was Trey to be that unhinged/deranged to go to the lengths he did to get those maggots 😳🤯 My god, I was shocked to the core when it came to his family 🫣
No one warned me about anything other than the yak 🤣 It was so well done though, a deeper story than expected! I listened to it on audible & the narration was perfection 👌🏻 Thank you so much Essig for sending me this! Another I’ve loved from you! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
Check your bloody triggers 🫣🤣🤎
