About this listen

For Disco the Ant, there is nothing more fun then dancing around in the rain or the sun. Before he is able to lace up his shoes and boogie all day long, Disco must first learn the importance of responsibility and doing the chores he was tasked to do by his parents.

In this story, Disco the Ant learns the valuable lesson that though having fun is important and doing what you love is great, there are also responsibilities that must be met as well. Chipping in and helping the family - or colony, in this case - is an important part of growing up.

This story will relate to children and parents in many ways, whether tapping into to a sense of excitement through the art of dance or trying to demonstrate to a child that responsibility is important and reluctance to do chores is normal and understandable.
