But Chloe has so much on her shoulders already, she works 20 hours a day, juggling numerous jobs and barely has time to sleep, she doesn't need someone else that needs something from her.
However, Ryan is not another thing on her list, he can and will help her, support her, stand beside her as she fights and hold her tight as she breaks. Ryan really impressed me here, he tones down his Alpha need to control to try and support Chloe, rather than take over and put everything right, it costs him some of his sanity, but he sees that Chloe needs to keep some control, needs any changes to be her decision, so as difficult as he finds, it he hands the reins over to her. Apart from the bedroom, here he doesn't hesitate to take control, he's demanding, dirty, tells her what he wants in filthy detail and ensures she's more than sated....delicious, dirty and steamy. I love this series, they are all slightly dinted and damaged souls, but they still fight to protect the innocent and remove the filth, they are all heroes. I listened to this on Audible with Kindle Unlimited.
