Summary

How do you fight a villain who's convinced the world he doesn't exist?

Dire has done the unthinkable and forged an alliance with a hero to bring the fight to the Murder Maestro, in the heart of Britain itself. But the sinister mind manipulator's roots run deep here, and Dire will find herself up against both new faces and old foes...not all of them human.

Her travels will take her to worlds beyond and places most would tremble to venture. But she is Dire, and all shall tremble before her!

A return to form.

I really enjoyed 1-3, but 4 was very meh to me. even more so considering the ending. i was kind of getting ready to give up i despised 4 so much. That all said, this one bring back dire and is another fun romp.

I'm alittle concerned as to where the next book will take us. I'm really hoping dire does something of her own choosing. Honestly through all the books she's been more a force of vengeance and poor circumstance. Dire has never really moved her own personal plots forward, or done anything to better man kind as a whole.

Iron Man supervillain and Fey of old

I have to admit that mixing old fey legend with a Iron man level tech was interesting.

I spoiled myself a bit what the last book is about when I bought it and wondered "How the hell is the book going from place X to Y in the last hour of the book" and holy hell the author didn't fail to disappoint. Absolutely 5/5 how he did it.

Just gets better!!

Love this series...somehow he keeps it fresh and Dire's new crew is hilarious! Amy does another excellent job and Seiple is a great author, no matter what the genre!!
