About this listen

Widow Dilly Carey has struggled out of poverty to make a life for herself. Dilly should be content, but she is troubled by the one secret she must never share: the true parentage of her daughter, Olivia, whom Dilly gave away at birth.

It's time for Dilly to make her peace with the choice that she was forced to make, but will she also find a way to a new happiness - and a new love?

I had to re-read parts to keep up with all the names. But want to read more of her works.

This is my first time listening to a book narrated by Charlie Sanderson, she is now on my favourite narrators list, an amazing story teller skilfully switching voices between adults, children, accents and class differences, I was enthralled for over two weeks listening to this wonderful Rosie Goodwin trilogy.
I was not disappointed and highly recommend these books, but you need to buy all three as the first two do finish quite abruptly....

Amazing trilogy. Fantastic narration.
