Vor vielen Jahren ist am Breitenweg zu Königsberg, wo man auf Altershausen ins Roth oder auf den Pappelsee zugeht, rechter Hand am Fahrweg gegen die Warte zu, eine Kapelle zur Ehre „Unserer lieben Frauen“ erbaut worden. Schon im vierzehnten Jahrhundert wird ihrer gedacht. Im Jahre 1535 wurde sie bei einer Kirchenvisitation vom Stadtrat den Kastenpflegern zum Aufbau einer Hofstätte bewilligt und deshalb abgebrochen.
