Summary
Mississippi, 1970: Die Zeitung "Ford Country Times" steht vor dem Ende. Neun Jahre später kommt der Mörder frei und zurück nach Ford County, und er jagt nicht nur die Geschworenen, sondern auch Willie Traynor, den Besitzer der "Times".
