To some Bond fans, Die Another Day is one of the worst, if not the worst, films in the series. The book still has the poor plot of the film and farcical aspects (DNA modification, invisible car, Bond surfing) without the terrible CGI & hammy acting from Halle Berry, Michael Madsen, Toby Stephens, and Madonna. Simon Vance's narration rescues this story.

Better than the film!

I really enjoy Bond books for how different they are from the films. This is exactly the same as the film and a waste of Simon Vance.

With the exception of the Graves backstory, the dialogue is word-for-word from the film, there is little insight into the Bond inner monologue.

If you have the DVD, turn on audio description and close your eyes. It's probably just the same.

A disservice to Audible

Well performed, terribly written. The author has added to the film, but it's still terrible!
