Mystery and romance
"Diamonds Under the Mistletoe" is a perfect title for this book.
It begins with Winter delivering a valuable order to a courier. From then on, things go wrong for Winter. Winter is likable, sweet, and passionate. But how is he supposed to pay his debts when there is nothing left?
And then there's RJ, an enforcer for the Courtisan Hotel.
I enjoyed the story from the beginning. And every time Winter thought it couldn't get any worse, he was proven wrong.
How wonderful that RJ has protector instincts when it comes to Winter.
I love the world of New Gothenberg and it was nice to see already familiar characters again.
The story was exciting, entertaining and fun.
Keval Shah is a great narrator who brought the story to life. He gave appropriate voices to the protagonists and he portrayed the emotions well.

Great book!
The mpre books I read by Ki Brightly the more I love this author!
This is a sweet book but with some intrigues. Sweet, a little bratty, sexy.
I also really enjoyed this narrator. I finished this book in one night!

Sweet Romance in New Gothenburg
A fairly angst free festive romance with cameos from some well-loved characters from The Courtesan and the Kings of Men.
Wonderfully narrated by Keval Shah once again.

A sweet Winter's tale
I just finished listening to Diamonds Under the Mistletoe was thoroughly entertained. It had all the right elements I love in a book. Winter the sweet, innocent boy who is conned and robbed of everything and RJ, the big bad enforcer type who is grumpy and suspicious of everyone.
Their chemistry was there from the start and I love the protective feels RJ gives off whenever he's around Winter. Loved the story and the audio was great too!

Loved this story!
Ki Brightly always takes on an amazing ride and this is no exception. Set in the New Gothenburg world, Winter and RJ’s story has danger, intrigue and a whole lotta heat. Pair that up with Kevel Shah’s wonderful performance and it’s a sure success. Sexy and so hard to put down!

Mystery and Romance
When a commissioned piece of jewellery goes missing, the change it brings to Winters life is unimaginable.
Into his life comes enforcer RJ and with him comes action, danger, adventure and unexpected love.
An entertaining, thrilling and action packed read. The story is filled with a sweet Daddy/ boy dynamic and has an instant love feel to it.
Mr Shah does a smooth narrative of this story and keeps you on the edge of your seat as the mystery unfolds.

Diamonds Under The Mistletoe
A wonderful story about finding love and trust. Winter and RJ are two strongly different men, yet they fit together like two pieces of a puzzle. When RJ comes to bring Winter to the Courtesan Hotel to explain where the jewelry is the sparks fly. Something ignites right from the start for these two. As Winter tries to clear his name it becomes evident to RJ that he is too trusting for his own good. Soon RJ finds himself trusting Winter when he knows he should not. The two are hot together and it was nice to see their relationship take shape. The two men must decide if they will follow their hearts or let the past and mistrust rule. As much as I loved RJ and Winter it did seem that Winter was almost overly naive at times. The author does a good job of mixing the action and the romance together leaping the listener engaged and eager to see what will happen next for these characters. Narrator Keval Shah does a nice job of bringing out the emptions in this story, my only critique would be that I would like to see more voices used as it seems that three characters from the books that I have listened to from this narrator seem to have similar or the same voice used and every time I listen it reminds me of the first character to get this voice and it can be distracting.

I loved this book. Keval Shah's voice really brings this story to life. Winter Janvier makes one of a kind jewelry. When jewelry that is specially made for Madam Winters is stolen Winter is in big trouble. Unless he can prove he wasnt involved and can make it right. RJ Chandler can't turn his back on Winter? Will they find the missing jewelry or money? Most of all will they find happiness with each other?

Sweet Christmas Mistery Romance
Keval is getting so much better with each book! It's so charming to sit and relax listening to his work. And as always, an amazing story by Ki, full of romance and, in this one, a case to solve.

Action and Steam
Winter gets in trouble with Madam Winters (I don't think I"ll ever like her). RJ is trying to decide if he should trust Winter or if he is a con man. I really liked this story. Lots of action and we get to see Alton and Noah, as well as Reaper and Undertaker. Nice to see old friends. As well as some friends from the Courtesean. This is a fast paced book, with a good amount of heat. Winter was so naive and innocent. He was a master of his craft, but seemed so young. Highly recommend
Keval did a great job with the narration

Entertaining
I enjoyed this very much. The storyline was engaging. There is action and adventure with a jewelry hust and a very upset madam to two very different but interesting men. Winter has a very hard time but RJ changes that for him. Lots of excitement and some exciting moments among characters make this a great listen. The narration was good too.

I loved it!!!
Winter has the worst luck, until he meets RJ and things slowly take a turn upwards in his wrecked world. He's still wrecked (over RJ), but it's the best kind of wrecked. I love how this author can turn things from negatives to positives. Some dark parts , but the warm and fuzzies made it all better for me. I liked seeing the bratty side of Winter and the loving Daddy side of RJ. What a change from grumpy and all business on RJ's part , and Winter dropping his facade was heartwarming to see. The ending actually left me with a warm glow, or was that the glass of wine I had??? Either way this is one I definitely will be relistening to again soon. I voluntarily listened to a free copy of this and am giving an honest review. The narrator did a great job bringing the characters and story to life. I enjoyed the narration.
