Summary

Diamond Dogs

The planet Golgotha - supposedly lifeless - resides in a remote star system, far from those inhabited by human colonists. It is home to an enigmatic machinelike structure called the Blood Spire, which has already brutally and systematically claimed the lives of one starship crew that attempted to uncover its secrets. But nothing will deter Richard Swift from exploring this object of alien origin.

Turquoise Days

In the seas of Turquoise live the Pattern Jugglers, the amorphous, aquatic organisms capable of preserving the memories of any human swimmer who joins their collective consciousness. Naqi Okpik devoted her life to studying these creatures - and paid a high price for swimming among them. Now she may be the only hope for the survival of the species - and of every person living on Turquoise.

Two Brilliant Stories

The stories were brilliant, left you wanting more. I was so engaged that I didn't take a break, work passed by very quickly.

Disappointing

I was really enjoying this book until the story abruptly finished and a different story started, not his best work sadly,John Lee’s narration was fantastic as always

Great book in the series

Great book in the series even if not quite the same as the first ones.

Disappointing

Poor ending to an otherwise excellent series. Basically two short stories, unrelated to the earlier books

Just a bit meh...

I guess I expected a bit more. I thought I would be hearing about The Butcher of Tharsis, or a bit more detail about the shrouders.

Honestly, I knew these were novellas and quite early too, so I was managing my expectations. Seems I was still expecting a bit more of...

...je ne sais quoi.

Reynolds is a quality writer

Two damn good stories, full of invention and no little charm. Reynolds is one of the top five SciFi writers in the world imo.

Enjoyed.

Two semi-separate stories, but an interesting into the larger setting. I hope the author writes more of these books, but moreao that subsequent ones pick up the larger story again. The hinted-at Greenfly were a fascinating idea.

good stories, wanted more

2 good short stories set in the Revelation Space universe. They probably give a good taste of what to expect if you want to get in to the Revelation Space books.
