Very helpful & easy to understand

AMAZING!!

Good and useful

This is a really good and helpful work book. It could really change your life in LITTLE ways, the reason I say little is because you still have to put the work, as well as effort into doing the work book, and then putting it into action.

The Best DBT Boook on the Market

After using Marsha L.'s book for years and finding it very difficult to follow and even to practice with, finding this book through a recommendation was extremely helpful and a wonderful thing to happen to me. Not only can it be used in a group setting it can be used alone which Marsha's book cannot be. This book walks you through the steps to recover with mental illness. It is easy to understand, clear, has a lot of space to write in the book. The book goes in four chapters each chapter has a basic and advanced section. I recommend this book to anyone who has gone through DBT before or who has been told they need to go through it. It will help tremendously in your life.

Great life skills!

This book is filled with exercises to help you make it through the day. Although DBT is geared toward people with mental illness I personally think that the exercises and concepts in this book could be useful for anyone. This book teaches you mindfulness, meditation, emotional regulation, and effective interpersonal communication among other things. This book has helped enable me to change from a pessimistic stressed out to an optimistic content person. It has been key for me turning my life around. I HIGHLY recommend this book!

This book has changed my life

This stuff works. Much of it works immediately and just improves with practice. Really practical exercises that are easy to learn and relate too and there is a wide selection for different personality types and thinking styles. You have to out it work, a book by itself can't do much, but if you learn and practice these exercises you can come a long way to bring peace and calm back into your life. Highly recommended.

Effective and Powerful Self Help Book

Fantastic and functional book for anyone who wants to help themselves from the inner core. My opinion is that this book can be used by anyone suffering from slight to great amount of mental illness (Depression, Anxiety, Addiction, Mood Swings). I mean let's face it , this therapy has worked for people with serious mental illness, so if you suffer from SAD or the occasional anxiety etc, don't you think it will help you even more? I recommend this book for anyone suffering from any form of "Emotional Regulation" , which i expect happens to the best of us unless you are some kind of robot.
