A dark, steamy mafia romances!

This is book 3 in the Marchesi Family series and can be listened to as a standalone.
This was a hot mafia romance between two men on the opposite sides of the law.
I love how Devil and Joe challenged eachother at every step of the way.
This was such a compelling story.
Michael Dean performed an exemplary audio narration which suited the overall mood of the story.
A must listen if you love dark mafia romances with a steamy enemies to lovers.

Best in the series!

I loved the dynamic between Devil and Joe so much more in this book. The family comes across a little bit lighter too so that helps. Devil is a fun character if not a bit scary!

Thoroughly enjoyable

In the first two books, Lucien and Angelo find their forever loves with submissive partners that they can dominate and love. Devil continues the series with a bit of a break from the norm. Devil is a different kind of guy. Crazy, thrill-seeking, a bit of a loose cannon. His pent up emotions have him seeking out...something. That something ends up being a battle of wills to dominate a kindred spirit of sorts in a man at seemingly opposite sides of the mirror. Joe wants it rough, sometimes needs to be manhandled to submission, but turns the tables and needs to give orders. Both men find their perfect complimentary half. The plot is amazing- both men seeking to find justice for atrocities, though on opposite sides of the law. The ending is amazing- the Marchesi Family and Vigilance working together to save the day. Michael Dean- SO great! Buy the audio and you will NOT be disappointed!

HOLY HOTNESS!!

I have loved all of the Marchesi family but Devil is definitely my favorite. The chemistry between Devil and Joe is totally explosive and the push and pull between them is fantastic. Their back and forth banter is incredible throughout the whole story. They are both alphas, maybe Devil a little more, but you can also feel the love, compassion, and even softness between them. The sex scenes are incredibly hot and couple that together with Michael Dean's narration and you need a fan!! Michael Dean is absolutely spectacular and really just brings the story and these characters to life like no one else can. I really love the whole Marchesi family, they are truly there for one another no matter what and I hope to see more of them in future books.

Awesome Conclusion

This one was more about the relationship than some overarching plot like the other two. I was fine with that! These books just keep getting hotter.

Love this series!!

I love this series, and Devil and Joe's story is hot!!! I like the story overlap from the previous books. I think you could enjoy it without reading or listening to the others, but the whole series is great!

Wish theres gonna be a book 2 for Devil/Joe

I enjoyed reading the other two Marchesi brothers' stories, but what Devil and Joe had is something more -- the power is much more balanced, instead of one-sided. This is a novel, so I don't want to bring up too much reality, but you can see in daily life that lots of guys in a relationship, be it a heterosexual or homosexual one in nature, try to pose as the more dominant one, as a facade, because they have a stereotypically masculine image to upkeep. A relationship like that usually doesn't work out well and often end up becoming toxic. In the series, Cameron and Peter, by the end, enjoyed their submission, so it's all good I guess, but that certainly won't work well on a lot of people if it's real life. In other novels, the one-sided power dynamic is also... prevalent (like a certain Netflix show...), and they become predictable very fast. Devil/Joe kind of dynamic just opens a lot more possibilities. Like, it's not always going to be a Marchesi brother acting as a tough protector to save his lover's day, and his lover acting as a tender caretaker who fulfills needs (even if his lover enjoyed it), it can be the other way around. I'd love to see an alternative storyline where Devil is captured and Joe risks everything to save him (and hold this against Devil in some way later ;) ). In a word, this type of dynamic feels a lot more vibrant and healthy. So in my mind, this is a better representation of power dynamics. And I wish there is going to be more of these two!

Loved This!!!

Oh I adore this series! This may have been my favorite so far, although I'll always have a soft spot in my heart for Lucien. It was fabulous to see more beyond Devil's gruff exterior as he fell for Joe. Their dynamic was fantastic, 2 very strong-willed men...I loved the push and pull for dominance as they let down barriers to be with each other. This book was also smoking hot! You need a fan on standby to listen to this...Michael Dean NAILED IT! I am sad to leave this family behind, but so hoping to see more of them in Georgio!

Even Devil's Need Love

Devil is the third book in The Marchesi Family series, a mafia romance set within the contemporary world. Devil can be read as a standalone, but I highly suggest reading the other books first.

I really enjoyed the first two books in this series, and was really looking forward to Devil; however, it didn’t capture my attention like the other books in the series. The police and law enforcement portion of the book just felt too unreal—I know it was needed for the plot of the book, but there were certain things that just had me raising my eyebrows. BUT, the actual relationship between Devil and Joe was HOT and AMAZING. When the focus of the book was on Devil and Joe and their growing love and romance, than I could barely stop reading. These two men burn the sheets up with their passion.

The audiobook was narrated by Michael Dean, a great narrator who does his signature great job with this performance.
