Loved the story, loved the narration. Love how the bad characters really ARE bad. Oooopf. Great story.

I enjoyed it way more than book 1. They are interconnected standalone, so I just skipped book 2. Ace is a badass, trained assassin and I loved her. But everything about the garden was a bit too far fetched and unrealistic (or the explanations weren't quite enough). Still, I really liked this suspenseful romance with a good spice, even if we don't get much of it.
However, check trigger warnings as there is a darker side to the story too, with criminal activities, human traffic, some of their 💩 background, etc.The
The narration was excellent as always.

As a French speaker I found the French language narration amusing but everything else really draws you in.

This is the best of the three books. Even though its (in parts) very unrealistic but it's still very gripping.
