I’m already a big Ali Sparkes fan so I was excited to listen to destination earth, as I’m also quite keen on Level 42. Without giving away my age (er maybe I just have) I was wondering whether this book would be a good listen but as I’ve enjoyed so many of Ali’s other books I figured I’d give it a go. I love Ali’s style of writing, the humour and the fact that she manages to put across a story with a theme that is really quite menacing but that wouldn’t leave most young readers/listeners having nightmares.
It was highly entertaining and I like the character development throughout. I really cared about what happened to Lucy. And I even think that because Mark King is such a nice bloke I don’t think he would spill the beans either! If you’re asking yourself spill the beans about what then you should read the book. Five stars out of five stars for Ali yet again.

He’s spaced out somewhere!
