Summary
With her two best friends, Daniel and Damion, at her side, Emma finally feels as if all her dreams are coming true. Her fledgling fashion company, Delacourt Designs, is finding its feet and a love she never imagined is beckoning.
Yet just when Emma’s life seems to be falling into place, it all falls apart on the heels of her father’s alcoholism and gambling addiction. Watching someone she loves tumble into ruin destroys a part of her, and suddenly Emma is faced with a choice that could change everything.

Must have the entire series
This is volume 1 of 6 and this book definitely ends on a cliffhanger however I enjoyed getting to know the characters. I was not expecting what happened at the end. I hope this ends up as a MMF, with the three best friends, but I don’t think it will. The narration is great. I am ready to find out what happens next. I recommend this book if you get volume 2 ready.

Wow what a start!
This is a really great start to this series. The storyline is addictive and the characters are very likeable. I can’t wait to see where this storyline goes. A very good performance from Laurie.

A brilliant start!
Ooh exciting! Loved this! Emma is a very likable character and I can't wait to see how she handles the situation with her father and the people he owes money to. How will Daniel and Damian react? A great start to the series.
