Summary

Dermot O’Leary interviews a range of people he greatly admires from the worlds of sport, fashion, politics and entertainment.

Dermot says: "People, Just People is born out of curiosity to find out more about the lives of individuals that I’ve watched from afar – but not had the chance to get to know. How they got to where they did, the highs and lows that shaped that journey, and what have they learned along the way?"

Great chat for dog walk listening

A brilliant way to be entertained while walking my dog, although I do get a few strange looks if I start laughing or need to wipe away a tear!!

Really refreshing

This was only the first episode but it was really refreshing, I enjoyed listening to it.
I liked Dermot style of interviewing and I came away from it with a new respect for Ed Miliband.

Can't wait to hear more episodes.

One negative comment, hearing them gulping tea has got worse by episode 4, take the cups away, please 🙏

Excellent Interview

The sort of interview you crave on TV but only given 3 minutes of. Some fantastic anecdotes, well worth the listen.

I thought this was gonna be just luvvies, but

in fact there are some really interesting people many if whom I was not aware of, and some inside stories on history or sport, entertainment even warfare came out. The host is unassuming and good at his craft, he really brings the individual out so that we do get a sense of being personally introduced to the human being in question. So I am determined to listen to the next series also.

Entertaining and educational

A wide range of people being sensitively interviewed. Nice to hear from 'non celebrities' not selling anything just talking.
A great listen.

Expert Interviewer

Well of course Dermot O’Leary is a terrific interviewer, but I have to mention it because he asks questions that do in fact reveal people as they are naturally, just people. I’m able to listen to what they’re discussing in a relaxed way that broadens my mind about individuals, their quirks, and all the thoughtfulness that brings even more topics to mind.
