Der erste Band Der Wildtöter wurde im US-Spielfilm Lederstrumpf: Der Wildtöter (1957) mit Lex Barker für das Kino verfilmt. Der zweite Band Der letzte Mohikaner diente gleich etlichen filmischen Adaptionen als Vorlage.
