Bei Gemünden liegt der Guckenberg. Von diesem geht die Sage, ähnlich der von Friedrich Barbarossa im Kyffhäuser, dass vor langen Zeiten ein Kaiser mit seinem ganzen Heer in ihn versunken sein soll. Nun sitzt er darin an einem steinernen Tisch und wenn sein Bart dreimal um den Tisch gewachsen ist, so wird der Kaiser mit all seinen Rittern wieder hervortreten.
