Summary

I made a deal with the devil. Now, he’s claimed me as his mate.

When my best friend goes missing in Las Vegas, there’s only one man I can turn to for help.

Lucas Ifer. Billionaire playboy. CEO of Abaddon Inc. King of Sin City. And...the devil himself?

Lucas - a.k.a. Lucifer - agrees to help me, but in exchange, he wants one thing: me.

He’s dark, dangerous, and wickedly handsome. Oh, and evil incarnate. I should say no, but I can’t. I’m that desperate.

But when you make a deal with the devil, there's no escaping it. Now, he owns my body for seven nights of sin. Even worse, he owns my soul for all eternity.

I’m Persephone being claimed by Hades, and I have no choice but to enter his underworld and become his dark queen.

Is there any light left in that black heart? Or, will his darkness consume me?

Loved it

Another great work by Elizabeth Briggs. Once again I was blown away by the way the characters are built and grow during the story. I really enjoyed the twists and turns, and I'm expectant for more.
I wasn't expecting this book to be in the same world as Seraphim Academy, and I just loved it. It was good to review some of the characters and I'm hoping we'll have more of them to see.
I received a free audio copy for a honest review.

Blown Away!

This is the first 'paranormal' romance I have read and I was blown away.

Hannah goes to Las Vegas in search of her missing friend, Brandy. After no success or help from police, she approaches the mafia boss and King of the strip, Lucas Ifer for help.

He agrees but on condition that he can do whatever he wants with her for 7 nights! She takes the deal and from here on in, it is excitement all the way!

I just loved the romance between Hannah and the Devil and I have to confess, I wouldn't mind having a fling with him either!

This is the first book of three and I can't wait to read the next instalment.

The narration was excellent but it could have been narrated by Lia all on her own!

Loved it

I couldn’t stop listening so it was another sleepless night for me. The story was fantastic the plays on fated lovers throughout time was excellent . The characters were fabulous especially Lucifer and Hannah and I can’t wait for the next book. Loved the dual narration I haven’t listened to anything by Will before but he was great and Kia is always fab.

This book

This book is intense, the characters are addictive and even by the end of the book I needed more. So many twists and turns and intrigue left me desperate for more. This was a very fast paced story that kept my interest the whole way through.

Reincarnated Love

Hannah went to Las Vegas in search of her missing best friend. She found so much more. A world of angels, fallen, demons, shifters, and fae. A life forgotten, an eternal love, a curse, and danger.

With a mix of Christianity, mythology, and a touch of the television show Lucifer, Elizabeth Briggs has created an entertaining story about star-crossed Lovers. I love the concept of reincarnated love. I would have preferred more backstory, more details of Hannah's past lives. I think it would have solidified the connection between Hannah and Lucifer. I loved Lucifer's week of seven sin dates. I'm not sure what it says about me that I am a bit jealous. I was not a fan of the side stories of The demon insurgence or the rescue and love story of Hannah's best friend. Instead, I would have preferred to spend more time with Lucifer's inner circle and a deep dive into Lucifer's world. It did end with a cliffhanger but that shouldn't have surprised anyone; it does say #1. I'm hoping book 2 goes even deeper into their history as Lucifer and Hannah face the future.

Lia Langola and Will M. Watt were largely successful in bringing Hannah and Lucifer's story to life. Lia was really good as Hannah but I didn't like her as Brandy. I also don't like how she scream-announces each chapter. Luckily, the negatives were minor and easily set aside for how good she was as Hannah. Will nailed Lucifer's sexiness and volatility.

Good book

Wonderful book that weaves together Greek mythology- in this case the Hades/Persephone story- and a modern take on Lucifer, then puts a different spin on it that makes it truly unique. The characters are complex and well done and the storyline keeps you interested.

Don't waste your money Maybe better in print

it has a start of maybe being a good storyline, but drops the ball big time, the female narrator is just ugh.... I really tried to finish, maybe if there was a different female narrator it may really bring this book alive but I doubt it

I tried to like it

I really tried to like this book but it was full of cliché’s and more eye rolls than I would prefer. I bought this book because of Will M Watt who has become one of my favorite narrators. Unfortunately he’s the only great thing about this book.

Lucifer in Sin City!

The following ratings are out of 5:
Narration: 🎙🎙🎙🎙
Romance: 💙💚🖤💜
Heat/Steam: 🔥🔥🔥🔥
Story/Plot: 📕📗📘📙
World building: 🌎🌍🌏🌎
Character development: 😚😌😉😍

The heroine: Hannah Thorn - a flower shop owner who lives with a friend Brandi and her friends small child. She came to Las Vegas looking for Brandi who disappeared a few days ago while staying at the Celestial hotel owned by Lucas Ifer. The police wouldn’t help her as soon as they heard where Brandi had been staying.

The Hero: Lucas Ifer (a.k.a. Lucifer) - He is a billionaire and king of Sin City and many call him the devil due to his reputation, not knowing that he is in fact Lucifer. He is known for making deals and being able to get you anything you wanted for a price.

The Story: Hannah goes to Lucas to ask for his help in finding her friend who was staying at one of his hotels. He agrees to help, but wants her in return. She agrees to stay with him in his penthouse for seven days. Hannah keeps getting the feeling she has met Lucas before. Lucifer immediately puts Zel (a.k.a. Azazel) on guard duty saying that ‘she’ had returned to him and is in danger.

The audiobook was told in dual points of view using dual narration where the male narrator does the narration on chapters in Lucifer’s point of view while the female narrator does the narration on the chapters told from Hannah’s point of view. The narration was done by Lia Langola and Will M. Watt who both did a good job. Will did the narration in a British accent which immediately made me think of the Lucifer from the TV series (which I love).

There were some things I really liked about this books and some things I didn’t. I always love a book about Lucifer on earth and in love. There was a pretty awesome shopping spree reminiscent of Julia Roberts in Pretty Woman, though this one was ruined by Hannah’s feelings about him buying her so much she didn’t need. I don’t know why a woman can’t just enjoy something like this, especially when the man has so much money it is just a drop in the bucket for him to spend some on her.

Then there was the big mystery of who Hannah was to Lucifer. Hints made it obvious that she was his one true love that somehow kept getting taken from him over and over. But it took quite a while for the whole story to come out. Personally I just wanted to know.

What an interesting spin on Adam, Eve, Lucifer and other characters from the dark and light realm. This book was very entertaining and interesting. The narrators did a good job with characters. Will listen to the series.

Holy Hell!

Fantastic beginning to a remarkable story! The voice of the male narrator give all the right tingles! This story will make you readjust your thinking about demons and devils. After all, what would be more seductive and tempting, A hideous monster or a drop-dead gorgeous hunk? For me, personally, that's A no-brainer!

Absolutely Brilliant!

The story of Hades & Persephone or was it Adam, Eve & Lucifer? Such a twist in the stories that we grew up reading! I absolutely love it! Time to download the next book to see what happens next!
