It takes the first few chapters to get into the story, but it is worth a read if you are into fiction and fantasy. The characters are good and the story develops well.

Epic Series!!!

I love this sort of fantasy novel but this comes across like somebody who has played Dungeons & Dragons once and wanted to write a book about it. It is unengaging and tedious. It is so boring I can't name a single one of the characters and I don't know what an earth are trying to do. The story seems to avoid anything that is of interest. To try to compare this to Tolkien is a utter joke.
