A simplified home can transform your daily life, making it easier to navigate and enjoy your living space. By reducing clutter and creating an organized environment, you can enhance both your physical and mental well-being. Embracing simplicity allows you to focus on what truly matters, creating a harmonious atmosphere for you and your family. A clear space often leads to a clear mind, enabling you to approach challenges more effectively and with greater clarity.

Covers a wide variety of fairly decent common sense tips without loads of boring waffle. Nice judgement free bite size short listen, with simple language which is exactly what you want with this kind of thing. Usually you only listen to something like this when you actually need them, so you don’t want a book that’s going to take days to get through. It’s kind of more of a general “how to live life” guide more than dedicated decluttering/cleaning book.
Still worth a listen though, it’s a good place to start if you haven’t already spent hours and hours googling decluttering methods, and is definitely a much more pleasant experience than spending hours on Google.
It’s quite family orientated, which isn’t relevant to me - but I do like how it guides you to get your kids involved, even a few parenting tips here and there and it does have a chapter dedicated to kid’s rooms.
Very well narrated, clear, easy to understand and easy to listen to gentle voice with a neutral accent and nice variation in tone and a good pace.
I like the way it’s broken up into different rooms, so if you want, you can just listen to the bits that are relevant to you at the time of listening. It does repeat itself a couple of times, but if it didn’t, you wouldn’t be able to hop in and out of the chapters you want.
It’s probably worth noting that the chapters listed on the app are not what the actual chapters are. I have a feeling it might be a chapter list from a different book 😂
But, there is a read out “table of contents” at the very beginning of the book to help with that.
Easy listening
