About this listen

Series finale!

The Deliverance is on the brink of destruction.

The planet is more dangerous than anyone realized - the crossroads of a war millennia in the making - and the colony is Ground Zero.

But the courage of a few can move mountains, and the fight isn’t lost yet.

The enemy thinks they have Caleb right where they want him.

They ought to think again.

Destruction is the fifth and final book in the Forgotten Colony series. If you love Aliens, Battlestar Galactica, Starship Troopers, Ender's Game, or Edge of Tomorrow, you'll love this epic military sci-fi thriller.

What can I say. Although this series had a number of inconsistencies, it really has been a roller caster of a ride. The fast pace just did not let up and although I was a little hesitant after listening to Book 1, I found myself not being able to stop listening the rest of the books.

If your looking for fast pace, all acton, then this series definitely does not disappoint.

The best of the five books in the series, Declaration leaves you wanting more. Fast paced and good character development.

“We had nearly 18,000 volunteers that’s 30% of our population” Deputy Chlohani (not sure about the spelling)
They started with 40,000 and lost roughly 13,000 leaving 27,000 during the civil war.

The whole series is full of inconsistencies with gender pronouns too. One minute the sheriff is voiced as a man and the invading general is referred to as she/her then later as his/him in another instance.

Inconsistencies or someone is terrible at maths!
