If your not a fan of sarcasm then these books may not be for you but as a sarcasm addict I love these books and found myself in hysterics on numerous occasions. Isla is my new heroine and her interactions with thorns sister are hilarious. Great storyline and great narration and filled with addictive characters. Love them

The narrator did more of an Irish accent than Scottish for Duncan. A little annoying but doesn’t take from the awesome story in general.

I am not sure this book was as good as the 1st one, but I still loved it.
Guessed the King & Slayer story but not the twist at the end though suspected it.
Still love the sass and pop culture rantings, and looking forward to the next book!

Strong, fascinating main characters with great chemistry and enticing interactions. Side characters are also wonderfully crafted. The story pulls you in from the very first paragraph of the very first book and it's not predictable, nor boring. The voice actor did a great job interpreting the different character, and highlighting their own different personalities, and kept the narration interesting and captivating.

The story wasn't bad but the lead female character was extremely irritating and I just couldn't stand to listen to it anymore . Also I don't understand why the writer felt it necessary to interject jibes at politicians during the story, they did not add anything except perhaps reveal a bit of Trump Derangement Syndrome from the author. I listen to audible to escape from all that.
