I live in Norfolk - very close to Fakenham - and I love how well researched and accurate Ross Greenwood’s books are. A special shout out for the narrator, whose Norfolk accent is the best I have heard on any Audible book.

This is the fifth book in this Norfolk based series and intriguing as always.
I really love how the author develops both the plot and the various characters involved. Over the series I have become quite attached to the various members of the Norfolk police and their associates.
As an added bonus I have learnt an awful lot about horse racing!

Excellent As Always

This is a unique audiobook, full of misdirections, plenty of murder, suspects, and half truths. The narrator does a fantastic job of being able to bring life to all the characters

I have loved every one of the books in this excellent series, but I think this one might be my favourite so far.
Excllent writing with many, many plot twists. Each time I thought I knew who the guilty party was, something would happen to prove me wrong. All of this happened against the backdrop of lots of very funny banter and interactions between the members of the investigating police team, another thing that Ross Greenwood writes so very well.
Once again, David Thorpe does a brilliant job of bringing all of the characters to life. He's a very skilled narrator.
Long may this series continue! 👏👏👏👏👏
