I just want to express my disappointment regarding the Audible version of this book. I pre ordered both the book and the audio. The content is great. I enjoy Radleigh Valentine's view or the world! I was also delighted to see at the time of pre-order, that Radleigh Valentine was narrating the book, so I knew I would be in safe hands as he is a seasoned speaker. So it was extremely disappointing to discover that the book is definitely not read by Radleigh Valentine, and is read instead by someone who rushes through it inappropriately....and also has very odd intonation. I had been so pleased that there was an audio version as I use audible a lot now as I wish to save my eyes since an eye op. a few years ago. I am therefore doubly disappointed. I know this can't be rectified, but I need to highlight the fact that a golden opportunity to make a really great audio book that can be used while out walking in nature, or last thing at night for the evening prayers included in the book, when sleep is upon you... has been missed. The prayers need to be voiced in a slower and more meditative manner. ...not least so one has the chance to follow the words and even repeat them. The book itself has been really well thought through, the chapters ..the fonts, the indexes are all really helpful. The audio however feels unnecessarily rushed and poorly spoken. Not thought through at all. As I say, I think a great opportunity to create a really lovely audio version has been missed.
