Has all of the ingredients of a Sanford Prey novel. Loved it. Great central character - good romantic frisson and complex plot.

Compelling Stand Alone Novel

Political intrigue, evil machinations and an unassuming protagonist to sort it all out. It's a great story, entertaining and absorbing.
Fans of John Sandford will not be disappointed and the absolutely brilliant Richard Ferrone narrates flawlessly. Sadly, Mr Ferrone passed away October 2022, He was, and continues to be, my favourite narrator of all time.
This title, (heretofore unavailable in the UK), became available as an audiobook mid 2024, along with a few other titles in the Prey series, and 2 from the Kidd stable, so if you are missing those titles believing that they just weren't recorded, try a new search. It seems most, if not all, of Sandford's books have been recorded for audio, but not all have been released in the UK. It's a bit of a mystery as to why they weren't released in the order they were written, but it was good to be able to access them this year. Hopefully all of the recorded titles will be available in the UK soon.
