I love all books; or so I thought, from J Deaver, but this left me rather disappointed and dissatisfied: I thought: what could go wrong with an entire book of short story thrillers from one of my favourite authors and when I read there was a Lincoln Rhyme story to boot: what a bonus! That was the only reason I gave the book 4 rather than only 3 stars!
Perhaps short stories are not everyone’s talent or genre! I’m a bit sad now.
