In this book we join DI Redding in a fast-paced and complex murder investigation. The story is interesting and exciting with unexpected twists (Peter!). The narrator, Grant Love, gives an excellent performance re pace, atmosphere, and character voices.

I do love escaping into a grant love narrated book it works so well. the story was involved and really got me thinking . I do like reading a whole series as the characters and their backstories develop.

Brilliant narration from Grant Love, who brings the suspense, thrills and characters to your ears.

Detective Claire finds herself in the middle of murder case. A missing boy and a mysterious death in the local theatre. With a husband that keeps making trouble and is being watched by the Organised Crime Team in Glasgow.

This is a great Scottish crime thriller, full of suspense that you will keep listening.
