A brilliant account of Prof Wilson’s career from prison governor to one of the UK’s leading voices in criminology. Prof Wilson is an expert narrator and explains difficult concepts and theories of criminal behaviour so that the reader is not bamboozled with science, rather it will spur you to dig deeper and there is an excellent large list of recommended further reading, most of which he is too modest to say all his books although he mentions a couple. Read by professor David Wilson you will want to listen in one go!

Such an intelligent and interesting man. Each chapter follows a theme. Some vile stuff in here, be warned. Recording wise it can be odd, at points his voice just changes. Does not detract though. Buy it.

David manages to balance his majestic intellect and expertise in this field with light hearted and easy to grasp delivery! Having recently met the man himself I can confirm he is as engaging in person as he is through his writing! Thanks David.

I highly recommend this book if you’re interested in Criminology and murderers. It’s Narrated all the way through by the professor, who reads extremely well. As with his TV presentation, he explains everything perfectly. My favourite book on Audible so far!

I thoroughly enjoyed listening to the wonderful David Wilson. So many interesting, and some what disturbing stories are shared within this book. I definitely recommend this to anybody who enjoys learning about criminology and profiling.
