Finally I understand the benefits.

The information is logically presented and well detailed. I've read many many books in my career, this one being by far the most insightful, well presented and easiest to read. It will definitely be my go to reference in the future. One thing is sure, I will never again look at descriptions the same way. Kudos!!!

Will teach you to make concise, impactful learning

Amazing attention to detail: not a tick mark is out of place. The author doesn't just copy and paste visualizations from other sources. Instead she carefully constructs each example putting thought into every bit of ink on the page. As a result, the charts are concise and get to the point without distracting you with details that don't add information or emphasis. This book helps you understand what's important in data visualization and helps you highlight the important thing in all the charts you create.

This book is helpful book.

Analytics explained in straight forward terms for managers. Should be required reading. The content on the off chance that you need to learn progressed factual techniques in business-related critical thinking settings separate from a particular programming dialect.

A Must Read for anyone working with data.

Very well written, highly engaging book. As someone who has worked in data analysis and created reports for years, it was eye-opening to realize how many things I could be doing better, and the importance of telling a story instead of just dumping data on people.

Using Big Data Analytics for us to learn here.

I have listen to it a few times and will keep it in my library for my future use. Herbert Jones will take you 'outside-the-box' on your average joy, 'I have to do this Big Data Analytics' to 'let me find something to tell a story about'. Highly recommended on my part!

Much more than expected.

This book has changed my views on a lot more than just Data Analytics and what not. It teaches you why and how people lose interest in your data, and how to keep that attention as well as make it actually useful! The writing is awesome and very easy to read with (a lot of) perfect examples. I didn't even know what to expect out of the book, I just needed to Analyze the data for my company and this book was perfect for the occasion and more.

This book makes data Analytics easy.

This book is fantastic and the lessons are powerful. It's helped me present complex data to key decision-makers, which was my initial goal. In the world of data-heavy technologies, "simple" mythology can sometimes be the most complex and difficult to build and tell. And that's why this has been so helpful. More-so, thinking about the arch of narrative and the way in which a data-driven story unfolds has helped me think beyond presentations and instead focus on a broader narrative, be it a product, a business case, or the health of the business itself. The book is a good tool for any manager and can be a great guide, and source of confidence, for anyone on the team.

Brilliant work by Herbert Jones

I think this is a truly helpful book with lots of hands-on tips for all data-grinding folk. Particularly, the descriptions and background information of easy to understand Big Data are brilliant. In one of her blogs Herbert Jones wrote “I love what I do: turning data into pictures and into stories”. This clearly shows in his book.

The author opinion is good.

I wasn't sure if the book would be simply a compilation of her posts but it's not. Fresh, rather helpful content, easy and even funny to read at times. Each chapter is a walk-through of her lesson with excellent examples of Big Data Analytics. I especially found helpful some of the before and after examples where she applies the lessons.

Fantastic lessons...

A must-book for anyone who works with numbers. I've read other Data Analytics books, but this one is by far the best. Full of useful tips, easy to read, and great examples. Really like her before-and-after examples to drive her message home
