Neben den anarchistischen und chaotischen Affen hegt auch der blutrünstige Tiger Shere Khan Interesse an dem Menschenjungen. Doch zum Glück findet Mogli im unbarmherzigen indischen Dschungel auch einige gute Freunde - allen voran natürlich Baloo, den Bären, und Baghira, den Puma... Eine nicht ganz so kindliche Interpretation des Klassikers von Rudyard Kipling.
