Summary

Ein gefährliches "Buschgespenst" treibt im sächsischen Hohenthal sein Unwesen. Detektiv Franz Arndt, der in das Dorf kommt, um vergangenes Unrecht aufzuklären, stößt bei seinen Ermittlungen immer wieder auf eine Bande von Schmugglern, deren Anführer der geheimnisvolle Unbekannte ist. Mit Hilfe des Försters Wunderlich und des Webers Hauser macht Arndt Jagd auf die Banditen. Aber dann wird Hauser aus eigenem Leichtsinn Opfer einer Intrige und als vermeintliches "Buschgespenst" verhaftet.

Der Sprecher: Peter Sodann, geboren 1936 in Meissen, nach einem technischen Beruf Besuch der Theaterhochschule in Leipzig und dort Leitung des Kabaretts "Rat der Spötter". Gefängnisstrafe wegen "staatsfeindlicher Hetze". Nach Entlassung erneutes Studium an der Leipziger Theaterhochschule. Engagements in Berlin und Erfurt. 1975 Schauspieldirektor in Magdeburg. Seit 1980 in Halle, wo er 1981 Intendant des von ihm gegründeten "neuen theaters" wurde. Seit 1991 ist er der Tatort-Kommissar Bruno Ehrlicher.
