This has been one of my favourite books for a couple of decades. A book I always go to for a great read. When I found it on here I hoped it be as good out loud. I was not disappointed, fantastic story brought to life. The story and its characters taken on a journey which has you rooting for them all the way through. I love this book.

Susan Lewis’ stories are all so varied, atmospheric and well researched. This story was complex and engaging - a thoroughly enjoyable read.
