I found this book by accident as I was scrolling through the authors book-list. The genre is quite different from what I know the author usually writes, but this one already has been written over a decade ago. So, basically old news. Anyway, the longer I listened to the story the more intriguing and fascinating it got. Bottom line. Absolutely must read. In my case listening to it. Phoebe Simon did a great job bringing this story to life, with all the Scottish/ Irish accent going on. Unfortunately, the story doesn’t continue in book 2 and 3 as they haven’t been written. And maybe never will, which is unfortunate :(
