As he grapples to master his abilities and sanity he must confront his own demons in time to take his rightful place in the battle against darkness and stem the tide of chaos sweeping across the land.
But time is not on his side and his training is urgent. The powers that be are not united in their belief of how he should be used. Yet there is an ancient secret order within the higher realms that believes in him, and they take it upon themselves to assist him on his journey. For time is of the essence, and they have invested much in this one human warrior.
This is his journey, and it is the story of the dynamic battle to stop the rising tide of darkness, both his own and the very real one swamping our world.
