a pretty decent premise with interesting and unique powers. I was a little put off by some of the characters attitudes but it mainly just made me feel sorry for the MC as almost everyone seems to want to manipulate him

I imagine ideas were welling up for a book two causing the latter two thirds to not get attention and be very dull and padded.
Performances are great though.

A non-consistent, hypocritical main character in a nonsensical story that it's author seemed to have got bored of writing as it starts rushing through the telling. If you can stop yourself asking questions, you might like it. I didn't.
